Agreement preview
VALPETS Kitten Purchase Agreement
Important: this is the standard agreement preview. The buyer receives a kitten-specific final copy identifying the seller, buyer, kitten, price, records, handoff method, and any disclosed conditions before payment.
1. Approval and reservation
A submitted application is not a sale or reservation. VALPETS may approve or decline an application based on the proposed home and care plan. The kitten is secured only after the buyer signs the kitten-specific agreement and cleared payment is received.
2. Purchase price
For Bravera and Alvara, the purchase price is $5,500 and includes the stated breeding rights and pedigree. Because these kittens are secured from an outside breeder, full payment is required after approval and before breeder release or transport is arranged. Delivery and third-party charges are separate unless the invoice states otherwise.
3. Pickup or delivery
Miami pickup is by confirmed appointment. Nationwide delivery may be arranged by flight nanny or another agreed method. Dates and routes are estimates until confirmed; the buyer must provide accurate identity, contact, and handoff information.
4. Records and veterinary examination
Available vaccination, deworming, microchip, health, pedigree, and transport records for the individual kitten will be listed or delivered at handoff. The buyer agrees to arrange an independent examination by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours after receiving the kitten and to notify VALPETS promptly of any concern.
5. Florida consumer rights
Nothing in this agreement waives rights that cannot legally be waived. When Florida Statutes §828.29 applies, its health-certificate, disclosure, notice, remedy, and consumer-guarantee provisions control. Review the current law at the Florida Legislature website.
6. Care and welfare
The buyer will provide a safe indoor home, appropriate nutrition, routine veterinary care, grooming, enrichment, and humane treatment. The kitten may not be transferred to a pet shop, research facility, animal fighting operation, or other unsafe placement. The buyer agrees to contact VALPETS before rehoming the kitten.
7. Breeding rights and pedigree
Any breeding rights, registration organization, pedigree format, transfer limits, and reproductive-health disclosures must appear in the kitten-specific agreement. No breeding or show result is guaranteed.
8. Changes of mind and incurred services
Subject to non-waivable law and the remedies in the final agreement, a change of mind, allergy, housing restriction, landlord decision, family circumstance, or inability to care for the kitten does not by itself create a refund right. Completed delivery and other third-party charges are not refundable after they are incurred.
9. Electronic consent
By typing a legal name and submitting the application, the buyer consents to electronic records and acknowledges review of these standard terms. The sale is completed only through the later kitten-specific agreement and accepted payment.
